Mark Calvert is a voice teacher and tenor. Before returning to Juneau in 2010, he performed throughout Europe and America in productions with companies including Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi, Chicago Opera Theater, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, The Santa Fe Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, and Austria’s Landestheater Linz, in leading and supporting roles. He made his Carnegie Hall debut with New England Sinfonetta and appeared in concert with L’Arpa Festante Baroque Orchestra Munich, as well as in appearances with Switzerland’s Aargauer Symphonie Orchester, Musica Sacra Wien, and Santa Fe Symphony, among others. Mark is a graduate of Yale University and Lawrence University. He and his wife, Sarah, are very happy to finally call Juneau home.

Megan Felts is a piano and voice teacher in Juneau, Alaska. She grew up in Juneau and recently moved back after being in Massachusetts for seven years. While in Massachusetts, Megan attended Berklee College of Music and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in 2007 and from Boston University with a Master’s Degree in Music Education in 2009. Megan taught private piano and voice lessons for the past two years in the Greater Boston Area before moving back to Juneau in June 2010. She enjoys performing and teaching in a myriad of genres that include musical theatre, pop, classical, country, and jazz, and hopes to inspire this love of all music in her students.

Mary has lived in Juneau since 1973. She’s worked for public/Private schools, uas, State of Alaska, and in private sector. She has taught Privately, part-time, since 1975. After exploring completion of her music education degree in the early 90’s she decided that her love of teaching music one-on-one was what she truly enjoyed. In 1992, Mary opened a full-time music studio. Her college training was in Music education & Performance with emphasis in early childhood. Mary enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities.
