Did you know that ticket revenue covers roughly one-third of the Juneau Symphony's production costs? Generous private donors help make up the difference and enjoy exciting opportunities to get closer to the music and the musicians. Simply follow this link to a donor card for your use. Your donation at any level will be greatly appreciated.
Ways of Giving
Gifts of cash or by credit card are gratefully accepted by the Juneau Symphony. In addition, you may enjoy some tax advantages with a gift of appreciated securities.
Gifts of Stock
Suppose you have owned stock for over a year and its value has increased. If you donated the shares to the Symphony, you would avoid paying capital gains taxes—and receive a deduction for the stock's full fair market value. In addition, selling your investments that have declined in value and donating the cash proceeds may allow you to deduct more than the current value of the stocks.
Matching gifts
Double your dollars with a matching gift! Your employer's matching funds will not only make a big difference to the Symphony, but you may upgrade your membership level and benefits. Please contact your human resources office for more information on matching gifts.
Silent Auction
Each year, the Symphony organizes a silent auction as one of our major fundraisers. Donating an auction item and participating in the auction is another way that that you can support the Juneau Symphony!
Alaskan and Proud Receipts
If you save your A&P receipts and send them to us, the Symphony can receive a 1% contribution of the cash value. You can mail them to us at PO Box 21236 Juneau, AK 99802 or drop them by our office at 522 W. 10th St in the basement.
Alaska Airline Miles or Companion Tickets
The Juneau Symphony often provides travel to our visiting musicians and special guests. Donated airline miles and companion tickets go a long way to help us reduce travel costs.
