Every year, the Juneau Symphony presents a school concert for fourth and fifth grade students in the district. In 2016, we collaborated with the Carnegie Link-Up program and the  Kennedy Center’s Any Given Child initiative to provide our annual concert at Thunder Mountain High School Auditorium. Our symphony musicians teamed up with our Student Symphony musicians to present an engaging and interactive concert. We were joined by the JAMM program’s fifth graders who played their string instruments including violins, violas, cellos and basses.

There is no fee for teachers or students to attend the concert. In 2018, it will be held at Juneau Douglas High School on Friday, January 26, at 10:00 am.
