Support the Juneau Symphony of today and tomorrow.

For more than 60 years the Juneau Symphony has been an integral part of our community and has helped make Juneau a great place to live. The Symphony receives just one-third of its annual revenues from ticket sales so we rely on donations, large and small, to provide high-quality performances and reach more people in our community, including youth and families.

Your donations provide crucial support in two ways:

Operational Fund donations provide critical support for annual, recurring operating expenses for symphony concerts, youth education programs, musician development, and community events.

Endowment Fund donations to the Juneau Symphony Foundation ensure the Juneau Symphony is sustainable, affordable, resilient, and able to innovate and grow. The fund provides supplemental funding each year for the operations of the Juneau Symphony. For more information click here.

Ways to Give

Gifts of Cash

Donations can be made via check, credit card, and through the mail or in person. You can also give to the Juneau Symphony from your Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend through Pick, Click, Give.

IRA Charitable Donations and Donor Advised Funds

Donating directly from your IRA is both a convenient and tax-wise way to support the Juneau Symphony. For those who must take a Required Minimum Distribution from an IRA, a Qualified Charitable Donation can be made directly from ( and through) your IRA custodian. Talk with your financial advisor and IRA administrator for more information.

Employer Matching Gifts

Double the impact of your Juneau Symphony donation with a matching gift! Your employer may have a program matching the contributions their employees make. Contact your company’s matching gift program.

In-kind and Rewards Programs

Fred Meyer Community Awards. Link your Fred Meyer’s card with their community rewards program. Select the Juneau Symphony and every time you shop, Fred Meyer donates a percentage to us.

Alaska Air Miles or Companion Fares

You can use your miles to buy a roundtrip or one way ticket for a visiting musician, or you can donate your unused companion fare. We are happy to discuss all the options with you.

As a thank you for your ongoing support, those who donate at the $1,000 or higher level become Crescendo Club members and enjoy exclusive access to private events and special recognition in concert programs. 

Our donors will be recognized in concert programs at the following levels:

• Season Supporter – $10,000 +
• Crescendo Club – $1,000 +
• Ensemble – $500 +
• Prelude – $100 +
