Juneau Symphony Housing Host information

Welcoming our visiting musicians and building lasting relationships as part of the Juneau Symphony Family.!

We are grateful for the critical support housing hosts provide to make our concerts possible. As visiting musicians come to play with our orchestra, your hospitality makes for an unforgettable experience for our musicians and opens up your world to new friends and lasting connections within our symphony family.

To make the most of your experience, please review the following questions and answers and feel free to contact the office at any time with questions of your own. 

WHAT AM I EXPECTED TO PROVIDE AS A HOUSING HOST? 

• Private bedroom accommodations
• Private bathroom accommodations are preferred but not required
• Light breakfast options
• Rides to/from airport 
• Rides to/from rehearsals and performances if possible
• Additional meals and activities are at your discretion 

wHERE CAN i FIND INFORMATION ABOUT MY MUSICIANS’ REHEARSAL SCHEDULE?

Our musicians rehearse Thursday and Friday nights 7 – 10 pm at and Saturday morning from 11- 1 pm at Juneau Douglas High School auditorium during the week of the concerts. For more information on rehearsals go to the Player Page here on our website. 

where and When are the performances?

Performances are held at Juneau Douglas High School auditorium and are Saturday nights at 7:30 pm and Sunday afternoons at 3:00 pm.  

I can Provide housing but not transportation. Can I still be a host?

YES! If you are not able to provide transportation we can work with your musician to provide rides and arrange car pooling. 

As a thank you for your generous support, we are pleased to provide you with two complimentary concert seats and you are warmly invited to attend the afterparty. following each Sunday performance!
